Bright Hill Evergreen Home is committed to maintaining integrity, transparency and accountability in all its activities and decision-making processes.

Management Committee members, Management staff and employees are required to declare any actual, potential or perceived conflicts of interest. Declarations are made upon appointment, annually, and whenever a conflict or potential conflict arises.

Management Committee members who have a personal or vested interest in matters under consideration are required to declare the conflict and abstain from discussion, decision-making and voting on the matter.

Employees are also required to declare any interests they may have in companies doing business with the Home. Conflict of interest declarations are reviewed and retained as part of the Home’s governance and audit processes.

Through these measures, BHEH seeks to ensure that decisions are made objectively and in the best interests of the Home and its beneficiaries.
