Get ready to relive the excitement of our second annual Golden Talent Time showcase—and what an unforgettable event it was!
Our talented residents stole the show, captivating everyone with their incredible skills and lively spirits. From dance performances and powerhouse vocals, each moment was a spectacular display of creativity and talent.
The audition process was no easy feat as we carefully selected the top 10 singers, who gave it their all, rehearsing weekly to prepare for the big day. We have also added an exciting new twist with a resident taking on the role of one of our esteemed judges, making the event even more inclusive and engaging. It was also truly heartwarming to see so many family members join us, offering their unwavering support and cheering on their loved ones.
Alongside the top 3 prizes, we handed out special awards like Most Popular, Best Dressed, and Most Favourite. But the highlight? Our Special Talent Award, which went to the incredible Mdm Fung, who wowed the audience with her stunning harmonica performance of the iconic 80s song 上海滩 (“The Bund”). The competition was fierce, with other performer rocking the stage with energetic drum beats and impressive drawing talent. There were several other highlights and it was a special day to remember!
We’ve also introduced our new BHEH Ambassadors, giving them the opportunity to represent their wards and advocate for the Home, adding an extra sense of pride to their experience here.
Last but not least, we’d like to express our gratitude to McDonald’s for their generous sponsorship of the decorations and delicious dinner provided for our residents.
